"That's Somethin' Dad"

The other day we were rushing to get ready for church (like every Sunday), so the kids showered with Kurt because that frees up some time for me to finish getting ready. Kurt and Braydon always race to see who can get dreesed the fasted. Braydon jumped out of the shower first to get a headstart. Kurt finished showering Logan and sent him out. He proceded to shower himself and asked, "Braydon are you dressed yet?" Of course he was still sitting there in his towel getting dry. "I'm almost dry" he said. So then Kurt said, "You're almost dry? That's nothin', you got nothin'!" Then Braydon still sitting there on the floor, naked in his towel, let's out a huge fart and says, "That's somethin' dad!" Of course Kurt bursts out laughing, so then Braydon bursts out laughing, and then Logan noticed that they were laughing so he started laughing too! All I could do was shake my head (with a smile of course), and pray that one day my boys, whom I love dearly, will use their manners!! Gotta love boys, right?

Braydon's "5th" Birthday...a little late

Braydon's birthday was actually on February 13th, but I guess better late that never, right. Anyway, he really wanted to go bowling this year, so he got to invite a few friends and away we went! They all had a blast! He got some awesome presents too...he loved every single one of them (I love that he is so easy to please!) Then we met up with my family and went to dinner at The Pizza Factory because he wanted a pizza made into the age he was turning. I would have a picture of it, but my camera was dead. :( Then we headed back to my parent's house to have some cake and ice cream and open presents! He of course loved everything again! He got some coloring books with special markers that only color on the special paper from both Jentrie and Nickole and Matt, and Nickole also got him a t-shirt. Mom and dad gave him some books and his bowling party, and grandma and grandpa gave him some new clothes...and a new bike!! That was one of his favorites! Grandma Dixie and Papa gave him a "Lego Indiana Jones" game for the Wii, and Debbie and Brian's family gave him a sweatshirt that he wants to wear EVERYDAY! Overall I think he had a pretty awesome birthday! Thanks everyone who made it so fun for him!

Happy Birthday Boogies...WE LOVE YOU!!!
